Officers

Paul J. McElligott, President and CEO, of North Vancouver, British Columbia, joined the senior management of TimberWest Forest Corp. in January 2001. A director of TimberWest since 1997, Mr. McElligott had been President and CEO of British Columbia's BC Rail Group of Companies since 1989. Mr. McElligott has extensive experience in BC's real estate, rail transportation and deep-sea port terminal sectors. Prior to joining BC Rail, he had been President of Voyageur Enterprises Ltd., North America's third largest inter-city bus company. Mr. McElligott currently serves as a director of the Coast Forest Products Association.

Robert (Bob) Allen joined TimberWest as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer on June 14, 2010. Mr. Allen comes with a strong background in both the BC forestry industry and financial management with 20 plus years of experience building, leading, and advising corporations through complex restructurings, acquisitions/divestitures, and capital market transactions.

Mr. Allen is a chartered accountant who holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of British Columbia.

John Kelvin - Vice President, Log Marketing and Sales
John Kelvin has more than 25 years experience in the forestry industry in BC. Mr. Kelvin joined TimberWest Forest Corp. at its inception in 1997, and heads up the log marketing and sales department. In 1977, Mr. Kelvin began his career with one of TimberWest’s predecessor companies, Crown Zellerbach, as an Assistant Inventory Forester. He also worked for Crown Forest Industries, Fletcher Challenge Canada, and TimberWest Forest Ltd. in increasingly senior management positions.

Mr. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. He is also a member of the Association of BC Professional Foresters

Bev Park - President & Chief Operating Officer Couverdon Real Estate

Bev Park is currently Couverdon Real Estate’s President and COO. Previously, Ms. Park was Timber West’s CFO for 10 years. Ms. Park joined TimberWest Forest Corp. at its inception in 1997, having previously held a similar position with TimberWest Forest Limited.

Ms. Park is a chartered accountant who holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.

Dave Whiteley was appointed VP of Timberland Operations in June 2007. He joined TimberWest in 1998 when the Company purchased Pacific Forest Products, where he had worked since 1984. Mr. Whiteley held a variety of operational positions with Pacific. Since joining TimberWest, he has worked in increasingly senior positions including Superintendent; General Manager, North Island; and General Manager, Operations.

Mr. Whiteley holds a Diploma in Forestry from Malaspina College and a Diploma in Business Administration from BCIT.
